Foreword from the Head of Sixth Form
Kew House Sixth Form is a hub of opportunity and excellence where students thrive. Our Sixth Form experience is both rigorous and enriching, combining academic challenge with outstanding mentorship and unwavering support. Over two years, students are guided by exceptional subject specialists who inspire ambition, nurture independence and encourage every individual to find their unique voice.
We set the highest expectations because we know our students can consistently achieve beyond them. From dynamic teaching and the Extended Project Qualification, to the structure of our Independent Learning Centre and our holistic pastoral system, every aspect of our provision is designed to cultivate resilience, scholarship and leadership.
This is not simply preparation for examinations but a launchpad for the future.
Our exceptional UCAS and Careers Programme ensures that students leave us ready to succeed in whichever path they choose, whether that be Oxbridge or Russell Group universities, competitive apprenticeships, or direct entry into employment. Alongside academic excellence, they build the confidence, adaptability and ambition to flourish in a fast-changing world.
What follows in this guide is a glimpse of what makes our Sixth Form exceptional: the opportunities, the challenges and the unwavering support that define our culture. We are proud of the pride our students take in themselves, in each other and in their school. For them, Sixth Form is not only two years of brilliance, it is the beginning of a lifetime of success, ambition and achievement.
